On the TV app in mac os, there is a setting for remotes. Mine currently says
"Apple TV is not paired with any Remotes" followed by a greyed out button which says "Forget All Remotes."
Is there a way to connect an iPhone remote app or the remote to the Apple TV (setbox) to control playback on the TV app?

Thanks. I was able to successfully connect the iTunes Remote app on iPhone to the TV app on my mac. The functionality was extremely limited for playing Apple TV+ dramas but I guess this is the only solution for now.
