How can I get my payment method off of default
iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 15
Contact your bank or card issuer to resolve credit issues with your payment method. Apple has nothing to do with that.
Once your credit issues are resolved, you can follow the steps in the support document you posted form to get it re-verified by Apple as a valid payment method.
You may need to remove it and add it again though.
