Smc reboot

So i did the smc reboot on my 2018 Mac mini and it’s taking forever to turn on. The light keeping slowly pulsating and making a noise every time the light goes off. Is this normal or how long does this usually take?

Redo the SMC reset, as per > Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support

Desktop computer

Shut down your Mac, then unplug the power cord.
Wait 15 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.
Wait 5 seconds, then press the power button to turn on your Mac.
