alarms don't work

The alarms on my iPhone aren't working. I can reproduce the problem directly. if I create an alarm to go off in 5 minutes nothing happens. Any ideas?

Hi there, numberman55.

If you haven't already, you can see if restarting your iPhone may help, as it can refresh the iOS and resolve unexpected issues: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

  1. "Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
  3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."

Another step you can take is to ensure your iPhone is fully updated, to see if that may help as well since updates can includes fixes for issues. You can check for an update in Settings > General > Software Update. If there is an available update, you'll want to backup before updating as seen in here: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

This article also shows how to update with a computer if that is your preferred method: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Let us know if those steps help or if you've already tried those.

Take care!
