Reappearing deleted app??? How/why, how can I delete it permanently?

Im so frustrated with a reoccurring issue..

Ive had three online chats with support and then a call back from a senior support person, and then after an hour of being on the phone, they left as it was taking too long!! She sent me through some steps to try out, but knowing the issue was more than a couple of straight forward issues, of course nothing worked and the issue is still there..

I have been trying to move (my 14yr old daughters) phone over from an iPhone 7 to an iPhone 11. (Both hand me downs)

Ive been trying to fix all this for about 6 days now, and im ready to throw both the Apple phones away and get something completely different.

Ive tried the automatic way, with the phones sitting next to each other, but it keeps coming up with an error saying there isn't enough room on the 11..

Ive also tried to back the 7 up to the Cloud, but it either comes back with not enough room, it takes 48hrs or just freezes up.

(I have however seen today, it does have a saved backup as of this morning) ??

iPhone 7 - 256GB capacity 67.33GB available

iPhone 11 - (256GB capacity) 247.17 capacity 243.89 available

(the 11 has been wiped/reset about 30 times)

Even though the phone (iPhone 7) is a 256GB capacity, with 67.33GB available, when I go into the settings, General, iPhone storage, there it has a strange app/file, relating to the Voice Memos.

When speaking with the Apple support the other day, we discovered there was about 900GB of voice recordings (which couldn’t of been a true number, as the files didn’t add up to the many overall)

So we deleted the files, and we also deleted the app.

I had left it alone yesterday, as it was frustrating me.

Gone back into it today, and there is still 672.42GB of a NON downloaded app (?) that has just (re) appeared, and now won’t delete!!

As you can see from the last photo, where it says to delete the app. I have tried to do that about 11 times, and it just doesn’t disappear..

I think this is most likely the reason the data (from the 7 iphone and/or from iCloud backup) won’t transfer to the iPhone 11?.

Could someone PLEASE help me??

How can I get rid of this 672.42GB?? Please…

Thankyou.

This occurs frequently with no obvious reason.

On iphone 7...

Settings, [your name], iCloud

if necessary show all

Turn off voicememo sync

You could even delete the voicememo app after turning iCloud off

Then restart the iphone 7

and after wiping the iphone 11 with Erase all content and settings, try QuickStart again

Make sure it is not still in App Library after the last home screen.

Check the iCloud setting I mentioned

In the end you may be better setting up the iPhone 11 manually and start again clean without the social media history. Photos can be put in iCloud Photos and other stuff like reminders emails and contacts will transfer in the background. WhatsApp can be backed up to iCloud on the 7 and pulled back in when setting up the app on the 11

Low Power Mode is On.

Charge the iPhone & wait until the battery is fully charged (100%).

The Low Power Mode will turned off automatically.

That photo is the donor iphone 7 which does not need a SIM to make Quick Start work.

The problem us the multi GB bogus voice memo icloud data.

If peta075 is prepared to "throw away the iphones and get something different" then setting up the iphone 11 manyally and manually moving wanted data (which would be required to set up Android phones) is a sound option.

Yeah, it's not in the library at all. And from the App Store it's there as NOT downloaded.

Ive put her SIM card into the 11 and tried to set it up, but when it comes to the screen of Apps & Data, I tried the restore from iCloud Backup, but it took about 5hrs and wasn't even a quarter of the way through..

Im at a loss with it all, it's consuming way too much of my time 😭

I think I might have to go into Apple and see if they can do it?? Only issue there though, our nearest is about 40mins away and I won't be able to get there for about two weeks... aaahhhh!!!

I appreciate your time and trying to help, thankyou.
