My NEW iPhone 14 pro max just died overnight, I have changed chargers, Have tried everything I know of and its my life line HELP it worked last night was charged and now nothing

Ok. My iPhone 14 pro max died but I was finally able to reboot. Up button quickly, then down button and then hold down the power button but it has to stay pressed for quite a while. This was the trick, ie hold down the power button down longer than you expect. But all good now.
This happened to me too last night. Total dead iPhone 14 Pro. I got it up running by forcing a reboot. Pres volume up, then volume down, then hold the power button for a long time.

Press Volume Up then Press Volume Down. Then hold the power button for 30 seconds.
Didn't think it would but the volume button up then down followed by holding down the power button worked. So weird but thankful to have my phone working!
This happened to me too. Visions of my business coming to a halt and the end of days gave way to me finding this forum on my iPad. The volume up, volume down, hold the side button worked. Whew! Thanks to all who weighed in on this topic.

Same. iPhone 14 had 100 percent battery and was on charger but went to black screen w no response at all. Upper volume button, lower volume button quickly then hold power for at least 30 secs seems to fix as stated below. Great tips here.
Same thing happened to me. I had to try the quick volume up/volume down then right button hold ...over and over again (nearly gave up), until on about the 6th attempt it worked...phew...talk about stressful , i'm about to get on a plane to fly
Many thanks for the heads-up here: my Iphone 14 Pro Max finally started after numerous attempts. Volume button up quickly, then volume down, then HOLD the power button at least 30 seconds. It started after about 10 attempts.
My 10 day old 14 Pro was exactly the same, ‘died’ overnight whilst on charge. The volume up, then volume down, then power for a long time made it reboot, thank the Lord.
Happened to me today too... the "up button, down button and then long pressing the power button" really worked for me too...
This just happened for the second time to me. I use a Belkin wireless charger (sold by apple). I keep the software updated. iPhone is off when I wake . Will only restart with the hard reboot, which is not easy to do. (Using volume and power buttons.) After reboot, will be at about 80% charge and will perform normally. Second time now in less than 1 month. How often does it have to happen to be considered a service item?
Same here. I almost gave up, but last try I held held the side button down longer (like 12-15) seconds and it worked.
The quick press, volume up/volume down followed by a long hold of the power button worked! (about 25-30 seconds) Thank you!
