I have a macbook air from 2021 and with 8GB memory.
I want to use Adobe InDesign for a small project that will only take 1 month.
Is it bad for my macbook to use such a large programm when I have little memory.
Will be computer be as good as it is right now if I delete InDesign after the project?
I hope someone can help me!

If by “bad” you mean “slow, potentially crashy app or maybe system hangs, and not recommended by the app vendor”, yes, it can be bad. If you mean “Will I damage my Mac?”, no, you won’t damage the Mac. There are alternatives, too.
Let Adobe's InDesign requirements for macOS drive your decision. That 4GB of RAM (16 GB recommended) is above what the operating system uses, so caveat emptor with an 8GB Air. Will likely be slower than the second coming…
Per one of the choices on the alternatives page MrHoffman linked to, I'm using the free version of VivaDesigner.

It's the only alternate app I could find that will both read and write an InDesign document. I would imagine importing is limited to how complex a file is someone sends you, but at least you can send them a native InDesign document.
