Apple is no longer selling the iPhone 12 mini. Regardless, did you purchase this new iPhone mini directly from an Apple Store or an Apple Authorized Reseller, or from another third-party source? If from the former, and it's within 14 days of purchase, you can take it back for a full refund. For the latter, you will need to work with them to get this resolved.
