Dictation and Siri not working

I too, have the same problem as many others have posted here. Dictation has stopped and all I get is the spinning blue circle. Siri also returns a "working on it..." followed by "something went wrong." Iphone13 using iOs 16.0.2 and dictation has stopped working about a week after install. I am on the road constantly and depend on dictation for 90% of my daily tasks. This past week I have even been involved in a car accident because I was forced to manually enter text into my maps gps while on the highway. I have called my cellular provider and have combed the web for troubleshooting and have checked every setting and confirmed they are as they should be, and have even done a reset 3 separate times. Apple is far too large of a conglomerate to allow a software issue like this to remain unresolved. As you can see from my recent situation, it is literally becoming dangerous to users and others around them. Whatever new product, design, feature, launch you're working on Apple- STOP and put ALL of your developers on this fix! You are creating a frightening, massive liability for users!

Try the steps here: If "Hey Siri" isn't working on your iPhone - Apple Support

Once you click and open the link, please read through and complete the steps in the section titled "If Siri stops responding."

1) Go to Settings.

2) Tap Siri & Search.

3) Tap Siri Responses.

4) Tap Prefer Spoken Responses to hear Siri speak responses, even when Silent mode is turned on.

We recommend the steps above because they will show you what to do if Siri isn't working as expected on your device.

Good Morning, Last week was frustrating without the "luxury" items of Siri and dictation. Apple had me try all sorts of trials and tribulations and had me waiting for a patch. No patch came, but yesterday, I tried and both Siri and Dictation were working. It had to be something on their end! Well, whatever it was, I am happy the phone is working again.
