Vertical Crack on Computer

Not even a second ago I was on my laptop only to see this line appear on my computer screen. At first it was bigger, but after letting it cool off the line looks like this. I see a crack looking thing at the bottom but I don’t know if it’s actually a crack? It wasn’t dropped or handled roughly, just one second it wasn’t there and now it is. Can anyone let me know what it is?
