Hi,
I use my laptop for a lot of adobe software. Recently, looking at my storage I have over 100GB of system data and I cant seem to clear it. I have looked on the internet and got ClearMyMac X to help but it doesn't seem to go down when I attempt to clear cache etc on ClearMyMac X.
If someone can help that would be great!

CleanMyMac is junkware akin to malware and you need to uninstall it as per the developers instructions.
Then follow the steps at > Free up storage space on your Mac - Apple Support
The point is that you simply cannot control that category - the OS does. You can get rid of some, but at the end of the day, the category is controlled by the OS. Scroll down to that category:
See used and available storage space on your Mac – Apple Support (UK)
a-kin similar to each other, like cousins
click on the > Free up storage space on your Mac - Apple Support < link and follow those steps.
