I'm using default screenshot taking program. I can't rename it immediately. I can't save it to a different folder immediately. This is annoying.
Also your discussion website (here) is buggy and not that robust. I had to refresh the page a couple of times. It says I have to put "Topic" and "Text" I did. But it didn't see it

You can certainly choose where to save your screenshots.
Press Command-Shift-5 to launch the Screenshot application. Click Options to select the desired destination.
You can turn on or off the "Show floating thumbnail" option. If you turn it off, there is no delay, the screenshot is saved immediately.
