Perspective Zoom (Parallax Effect) not working properly after iOS 16 update, on iPhone 12

Hello!

Not that is so important problem, but I like that feature. After I've updated the os to the lates release, the perspective zoom option is gone. I've searched for some solution on the net, but most of them pointing to the "customise" option on of the wallpaper. I tried all but this option is not available for me. What I noticed is that after restarting the phone, the perspective zoom is working. But after few minutes, stops again, till the next restart. So is there any official reason for that. I am already on iOS 16.0.3 but this is not fixed.

Thank you very much for replying to my post. I've tried such a solution. But no luck. No matter the wallpaper. I've tried with another picture. Sites advised to pinch and zoom the picture and the Perspective zoom will be available. But that is my problem. This option is not available at all. Like on the screen shot I posted. Only what I stated in the original post. The effect is working after restart, for few minutes. After that the wallpaper go still.

Hello faith185

Thank you very much for your response. I am not using any widges on the lock screen. This option is just gone. When I press the dots I only see the Depth option. No matter the wallpaper... It seem I have to ask the official support. It's kind of shame to bother them for such a small thing, but after all it's something I like.

Hey xxTTcc,

This article may help you: Change the wallpaper on your iPhone. Once you're there, scroll down to the section labeled "Customize a Lock Screen wallpaper with filters, widgets, and style." It mentions Perspective Zoom in wallpaper options.

Hi xxTTcc,

This may be unrelated to widgets. However, since Personalize your iPhone Lock Screen - Apple Support, mentions "Layering is not available on wallpapers with widgets" when referring to Depth Effect which is a related feature, try testing without any widgets on your Home Screen. See if the same continues.

If so, this may be unexpected and Apple Support is in the best position to look in to it further. Reach out from Apple Support.
