My iphone 13 battery health went from 100% to 99% after 3 months. Since last September 20 when I update to ios 16, my battery health is decreasing. Battery health has decreased by 4% in the last 20 days. Solve this problem?

In last 2 months my battery health went from 100 to 93. It went from 95 to 94 in a week and then 94 to 93 in 2 days. We are being told that until its above 80% its fine. But the problem is that the rate at which it is declining, it won’t even be a year and it will be below 80%. That too when background refresh and notification are off for majority of apps, don’t play any games on it and also don’t have any social media except for whatsapp and linkedin. The most I do with the phone is spotify.

You seem to be doing everything right, so I would say that your battery is not performing properly. You can have it checked at a genius bar.
one thing i forgot that might be useful to understand if it’s acting properly or not… i have already done 290 charge cycles, idk if that changes anything
Ah, that changes things. After 290 full charge cycles an average phone would be at 88%, so your phone is doing better than average. You must be a very heavy user.
After posting this same complaint on facebook I have had numerous comments from people noticing the exact same thing. I get you bots try and squash any Apple criticism but this is a real concern.

I’m literally facing same problem, bought Minè October to November battery health had dropped to 95%
My battery health is draining so fast
Mine has dropped to 86% in just 8 months. You can get battery replacement if that drops below 80% in a year
Its been six months since I bought my iPhone 13 and the battery health has only dropped 2%, from 100% to 98%!
Mines been 100 3 years today dropped to 98 :(
My iPhone 13 which I got on February 5th, 2024 brand new, went from 100% to 94% today, it drops after two charges, I’m so frustrated. It’s not even up to a month.
