My iPad Pro 5th gen won’t charge. I’ve tried everything!! Took it to Apple and they said they can’t fix ports??? My pad is personalized, a gift, and I will lose that on an AppleCare replacement. 😢 Is it possible to somehow get the replacement personalized again?

Apple Store locations do NOT repair iPads, but only offer in/out of warranty device replacement.
Apple Store locations do not have any engraving equipment, on site, to re-engrave devices.
If you wish to have a working iPad, again, your only option is to pay for an un-engraved replacement iPad.

Yes, they told me the only way to get the personalization is to buy a completely new device. I said I’d pay for the engraving, but I was told they couldn’t (wouldn’t?) do it.
Did Apple say that the engraving won't be preserved? As far as I know, AppleCare+ replacements are re-engraved with the personalization from the damaged device.
You best check with Apple; we are just other users here. My opinion is that they may not engrave it twice (you got it once at no charge already). But, I could be wrong - the only sure way is to ask Apple - we can't speak for them.
