Airpods pro 2 battery

I have this problem and hope i can get an answer - when my airpods are in their case and the case is closed the battery of the case and the AirPods themselves keep popping up on the battery widget and (maybe i imagine it) I think the battery drains quick. I cleared this problem with the AirPods being updated but yesterday i updated my iphone to 16.0.3 and the problem began again. Anyone with battery issue?

Yes, i have this problem too. This bug is due to the new and *improved* work with Find My. The case is constantly connected to the iPhone and displays information, such as the charge level, location, etc. Thanks to this, the case battery drains very, very quickly. After disabling Find My in the Airpods settings, everything is normalized.

Troubleshooting AirPods Power Draining:

A. A Few Links to Visit:

B. Try the Following Tasks:

  • Hold Down the Button on the case for about 15 seconds.

  • Use an Apple Brand Cable - not a third party one - cool though it may look, a fabric, third-part cable would likely tear - (Apple cable's are plastic and are intended for Apple)

  • Remove the AirPod from the Case, then place it back in the charger. Perhaps it need to resync with he charger.

Perhaps rather than add to a discussion, you should direct a report or comment

about this, to Apple Product Feedback channel, where Apple Inc actually reads

each report or comment~ and then hope to see them act on it instead?

• Product Feedback - Apple

//www.apple.com/feedback/

In this instance, an example from site selection above, goes to a specific Product:

Feedback - AirPods - Apple

//www.apple.com/feedback/airpods/

When enough traffic uses this channel to report, & each participant

adds their contact information; and Apple Inc chooses to further ask

more details from each instance, would go up-channel to Apple.

As fellow product hardware and software users, we are not Apple.

And most are Volunteers at home; on own device & time ~ online.

A better report is to offer direct best-worded feedback to Apple.
