Stupid question: Is there a way to “lock” icons on iPhone’s home screen so that they are not inadvertently moved around to different positions?….🤔 I searched, but I didn’t wanna download the 3rd-party IconLock app. Figured that Apple must’ve built in that capability when designing the iPhone…. Thanks

Currently, there's nothing built into iOS software that would allow you to lock your apps so they can't be accidentally moved.
