Actually, I see now that mx revolution isn't listed among the compatible mouses for Logi Options+:

I've found this thread. Take a look and check if it helps:

Just in case – this is the previous version of Logi Options (not +) with some Mac-specific notes:

As far as I know, recently Logitech updated its software called Logi Options+. Maybe you can configure your mouse with Logitech's utility:

thanks. that helped but not much :)
I installed the Logi Options+ on my macbook pro . when you run the software it just takes you to the blue tooth page in macos system preferences and. you can sucessfully 'discover' and connect the logi mouse but thats it.
when i go to the mouse page in sys pref and click on setup blue tooth mouse. macos says no mouse
bottom line. the mouse has basic functionaliy and oddly enough the right click now works (after i instaled logi options+)
but you cant program any of the other buttons 😞
no. when i open the app. my 'good morning' screen doesnt show any devices at all!
its only when i select "+ add device" and then select 'blue tooth'. that it takes me to the system preferences blue tooth page and i can see my mouse in the list of connected devices
One more thing: I hope you'll find a way to customize your mouse either through macOS native available options or Logitech's software.
I report some third party apps that could be helpful:
They're paid apps – trial are offered, though. So you can check if they fit your needs or not.
That's strange. Here, the Logi Options+ app shows the detected mouse and I can customize the buttons.
Do you see your mouse model listed like this?
hi . thanks for your help ... i;ll take a look
my mx revolution mouse is great. i cant believe lackitech doesnt support it. its not like I bought it in 1892 😀
