Not getting notifications from Mail app for emails received and Smart Mailbox gets reset

Hi, I am currently facing an issue with the Mail app in my MacBook Pro running on macOS Monterey with M1 chip. I am not getting notifications for the new emails. I tried restarting the Mac, the Mail app, adding my email accounts again but nothing seems to have worked.

I get the email message shown in the Mail app but don't get the notification for it.

Another issue which is really frustrating is that I created smart mailboxes multiple times but every now and then they get sort of disabled and I am not able to open them.

Does anyone have a resolution for these problems?

Argh! Worked for the first 2-3 hours but has stopped working now. This if frustrating. Also, I created the smart mailboxes which automatically got deleted, the `Today` smart mailbox has a filter `Date viewed is today` by default, I changed it to `Date received is today` but it also gets reset.

I wonder how come this app is still used, it is so buggy, at least for me! Do you have any suggestions?
