Just updated to IOS16 and am having inconsistent luck with where I can use the “press and drag on spacebar” feature to slide my cursor .
This does not work in text messages or in notes .
This does continue to work in safari browser

It started working again later in the day.. No idea what the problem was

tap and hold on space bar then drag works in those apps on my phone.
