iPhone voice to text not working
Voice to text is not working . The microphone is enabled and works in other apps, just not messages.

I have iPhone 11 Pro Max.. anyway my dictation in messages worked and then it didn’t. It would pop up when I tried to use it but nothing happened.
not sure if this will work for anyone else, but I went into the keyboard settings and disabled it, then enabled it again. And it’s been working since.

On your phone, go to Settings then Keyboard. Under Keyboard, tap Keyboards. You will see English and Add New Keyboard. Tap Add New Keyboard. Scroll down to English (Canada) and tap it. That's it. Restart your phone and test it out.
So I went into settings, and then general, and then keyboard and last, literally turned the enable dictation off and then back to on and it fixed the problem. I know it is ridiculously simple. Just to clarify, it was already on enable dictation but turning it off and then back on again worked for me. Hope it helps
After trying everything Apple suggests, the solution that worked for me was to install the Canada keyboard - English version. Once I did that, voice to text messaging started working perfectly. Nice update Apple!
I’m not particularly text savvy in most ways. How would I download the Canadian version? Would that be going to the App Store?
