Voice to text is not working . The microphone is enabled and works in other apps, just not messages.

My microphone is not working over text

So I went into settings, and then general, and then keyboard and last, literally turned the enable dictation off and then back to on and it fixed the problem. I know it is ridiculously simple. Just to clarify, it was already on enable dictation but turning it off and then back on again worked for me. Hope it helps

My microphone is not working when I’m sending text messages. It also is not giving me the option when placing calls
I am having the same problem (microphone works everywhere but in Messages and email). I’ve done everything suggested in the thread but nothing has worked. Has anyone come up with anything else?

Same like I’m actually using talk to text now which is crazy because every time I use it for a text it hasn’t worked for the last two days! But it works everywhere else

I have the exact same issue. The voice to text stopped working 2 days ago with the latest software update. Any solutions yet?
