Apple watch (iOS 9.0.2) streaming issues with Amazon Music

I've got the Apple watch ultra and am having issues streaming music from the Amazon Music app on it. My earbuds are connected to it and when selecting any playlist, one song will play, but after about one second on the next song, it stops. I can reselect that playlist or another one and the first song will play again but the same things happens. I can also fast forward/skip a couple of times and get a different song to play but every time the next song starts, it plays very very briefly and stops again.

I've tried repairing the watch with Amazon Music on my phone and the same things occurs. I saw that iOS 9.0.2 was supposed to fix streaming issues with Spotify but are there known issues streaming Amazon Music, as well, that haven't been fixed with that update?

Before anyone asks, all of my apps plus phone and watch are on the latest updates AND I've restarted everything. ;-)

Just thought to test this with Amazon Music by itself versus using it during a workout (just to rule it out). Sure enough, without a workout engaged on the watch ultra, the same behavior occurs.

Turned off wifi to ensure the connection is LTE
Opened Amazon Music on watch (already signed in)
Navigated to recent playlists (I tried this with two different ones)
Pushed play and connected ear buds as prompted
Let first song play through (this works fine)
As soon as next song starts, it plays for about one sec and stops.
If you click play, nothing happens. You have to navigate backward, and restart playlist but then same behavior occurs.

Having the same issue on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. This has happened while I’m running a physical activity tracker on my runs or at the gym. This happens with streaming content on LTE and downloaded content. On Apple Podcasts it plays parts of the episodes or gets up to when it going to finish and stops playing anything. With Spotify it plays a couple songs then stops completely.
