Whatsapp Business is lagging

It's been around 1 yr my whats app business is lagging. which is effecting my work very much there is no valid reply from apple or whatsapp ,apple customer care says replace battery as it is 80% i mean really are you serious what is the link between these two. While uploading a single status whole whatsapp freezes and phone gets heat up too much that you can't touch why this is happening does someone has proper solution ??? I am tired

That's a question for WhatsApp. But, yes, if your battery is at 80 percent, it's time to replace it. It may indeed affect functionality.
