I am having trouble setting up my apple watch that I bought in the USA with my Globe Telecom plan in the Philippines. I have the esim. I have paid for the service, but the app says I can't do it.

I have an apple watch 7 with cellular capability.


I am back in the Philippines for a work trip. I have a Globe Platinum account...which supports apple watch connectivity. I have the esim in my phone. But, for some reason, the Watch app will not let me use the globe esim. Why?

Because many Apple devices for the US don't function on the networks in other countries.
