No such thing exists. iPads don't have recovery keys. Your Apple ID if using 2 factor authentication may have a recovery key if you generated one for it.
There is no way to find it unless you saved it somewhere as instructed when you generated it, in which case only you would know where it would be.

Also, are you sure its first generation iPad? That would be from 2010, and likely would be unable to even use 2 factor authentication at this point. Link-> Identify your iPad model - Apple Support
