I recently got a new iphone 12, it will charge perfectly throughout the day but at night it won’t charge past what it was when put on. For example if it’s on 27% and i put it on charge before i go to sleep it’ll still be at 27%. I’ve turned optimised charging off and it still does the same thing. I have turned my phone off and on. It’s not the charger because it charges perfectly throughout the day and i just done know what to do.

If it’s the same power source, same cable, and plugged in to the same outlet the only possibility is the outlet is off at night. Have you tried plugging it in to a different outlet? Does the charge indication come on over the battery icon when you plug it in? Is it at least a 10 watt power source?

My first guess is that the power source is plugged in to a wall outlet that is switched, and the switch is off.
What are you using as a power source?
I’ve changed the plug socket i’m charging it in and it’s still the same thing. On the top right it says that it’s charging with the little lightening bolt and on battery health it also shows that it is charging but the percentage just doesn’t go up. Thank you for taking the time to help me <3
the switch is always on, i’ve charged my nintendo in the same socket overnight and that works. So i have no idea what’s wrong
