Hi , I have an D-link usb 3.0 adapter to ethernet

I can see the usb on the system report but it does not show on the network and whan I try to add a new connection on th + it does not show the USB option


please help if you can

In System Preferences->Network, when you click + to add a new interface, what options do you see?

For comparison, here is what I see on my mac (I have a USB-C connected dock which provides a Gigabit Ethernet connection - so I get the USB 10/100/1000 LAN below):



If you don't get something similar, maybe that D-Link requires its own separate driver?
