My Apple Watch won’t update

I am getting so mad at this, I have reset my Apple Watch Series 3 two times and restarted both my phone and watch and it won’t update to watchOS 8.7.1 which is supposed to fix a restarting issue for my series of watch.

I should also mention that I get an error message stating that It can’t verify the update because it’s not connected to the Internet even though it is.

I literally do not know what else to do, I’ve been at this for a few days now.

I should also add that for some reason my app isn’t communicating correctly with my Apple Watch even though Bluetooth is connected
