I just purchased the USB-C to Digital AV Multiport Adapter.
We use a speaker system that is connected via Auxiliary Cord. I have the adapter to connect the Aux cord to USB-C so I can plug it in to the Multiport Adapter but I haven't been able to figure out the settings to get sound through the speakers while projecting.
Is this Multiport Adapter capable of supporting audio output through Auxilary?

The adapter supports audio through the HDMI port only.
The USB-C port on it is only for charging the connected device as explained in the support document you posted from.
