IMEI Blocked - I dont know why

I’m sorry, I’m 76 & not very savvy on tech devices! MintMobile tried to help but still no service. I have internet connection & they told me to go to settings & erase everything on my phone, reset it, but it failed. I can’t get a hold of my kids to help & no vehicle to drive to one of them! no talk or text service! Can anybody help me?

hello I to had mint mobile for three months service was paid for then September 28 came in I had no service and it said sos only I called mint mobile 100 times they tried to say i reported it stolen but there was no find my iphone set up on my phone they tried to reconnect me to a different tower in i still had service with them...you have to call the 1800 number almost everyday to tell them that they blacklisted your imei while you had service with them they need to take it off

If you bought a used phone, sometimes sellers will report the phone stolen after they sold it to collect insurance, and the insurance company will blacklist the IMEI.

Apple wouldn't have anything to do with that. The IMEI would only be blocked or blacklisted by a carrier.
