AppleTV remote app not entering passwords

Paste password into text box on iPhone but does not enter on Apple TV. Problem happens on all my Apple TVs. Navigation by remote app works fine.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.6

I can confirm that pasting is fixed with the latest version iOS.

Passwords from an iCloud KeyChain should function across devices as always.

Password from the clipboard may not paste through iOS 16.x.

Please report this bug to Apple, to help prioritize a fix for this.

Feedback - iPhone - Apple (as it seems to be an iOS 16 issue).
