System Preferences > Extensions > Finder Extensions keeps randomly popping up.

Hello.

I've googled and can't find anyone having a similar issue. After updating to 12.5.1, System Preferences keeps randomly opening. And it's always opened to the Extensions>Finder Extensions.

The following boxes are checked: OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, and Core Sync Helper (Adobe icon).

It doesn't ask me anything or show me a dialog requesting an action. It just randomly appears and I have to dismiss it over and over.

Is it possible I'm fat-fingering some key combination? Or it needs help but doesn't know how to ask?

Thanks

iMac 27″, macOS 10.12

Are there any boxes in Finder Extensions that aren't checked?

My guess is that it is caused by a some 3rd party app. Either some app wants you to enable a Finder extension and you haven't, or it is confused and thinks that you haven't enabled its extension and you have.

Unfortunately, there is no way to tell which 3rd party app it might be. If you have some extensions that are not checked, then it could be one of those. You can try enabling the unchecked ones one-by-one until the pop-ups stop. Then you have found the app that is causing the problem.

But if you don't have any unchecked Finder extensions, then it is probably a bug in one of those 3rd party apps.
