Update payment method

Have been trying to update apps and make In app purchases but keep receiving a pop saying I need to update my payment method. Every time I try to put in my cards details it says” there is an issue with your payment method. Update your payment information to correct the problem and try again”. this keeps repeating every time I try to put in the information

Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details.

https://appleid.apple.com

On the Sidebar click Payment methods -> then tap Payments Methods and tap Manage payment method.


Or -> Change, add or remove Apple ID payment methods

Change, add or remove Apple ID payment methods – Apple Support (UK)

  • Add first the new card, then remove the old one.

You can also use your Apple ID balance as payment method: Add money to your Apple ID balance

If you update your payment method or add funds to your Apple ID balance, It would take about 1 to 3 business days in order to process.

If you're still unable to update your payment method, Contact Apple Support.

 

Additional:


You need to have a good Service & Wi-Fi.

If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.

Charge the battery > 70%.
