Airpods pro 2 too punchy bass issue

Hi guys, I am using airpods pro 2, my problem is the bass is to punchy which is kind of annoying for me. Is there a way to settle it up. I feel like some body is using chisel and hammer in my ears when the drum beats. I have used my friends airpods pro before it was working very fine so I went for airpods pro 2. I have tried to adjust the settings for the airpods pro 2 balanced tone, vocal range, brightness etc but still the music's is not pleasant for me it's like bits and patches here and there amplifying the unwanted sounds and spoils the hearing experience ( annoying )

Hi Dinakaran555,

If the sound of your AirPods Pro is not desirable, and you've checked the settings for the AirPods, here are some additional settings to check:

  1. Turn off or on or off Dolby Atoms - About Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos in Apple Music
  2. Check your equalization settings - Change the way music sounds on iPad
  3. Reduce sound headphone sounds in Settings > Sound > Reduce Loud Sounds. See Use headphone audio-level features on iPad for more information.
  4. Check your Accessibility settings and Set headphone accommodations for AirPods
  5. Customize Transparency mode for AirPods Pro
  6. Adjust the volume of sound effects for AirPods

If possible, pair your AirPods to your friend's device and see if they sound the same as when connected to your device. This will help isolate if it's the AirPods Pro or the device.

Take care.
