airpods (2nd gen) tinny sound

When I use my AirPods (2nd gen) the left AirPods produces a tinny sound along with the original sound which isn't very loud but noticeable enough that it's irritating, and I'm worried that it could lead to further problems in the future. Anyone know what causes the problem/how to fix it?

Many thanks

Hello Nicewings,

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you. When you say the AirPod produces a tiny sound, what exactly do you mean? Is the volume coming from the left side lower than the right? If you can provide more detail in your explanation, it would be helpful to us for possible troubleshooting suggestions.
