Safari or wifi does not connect

When i am in car or restaurant Safari will not connect so that i can research a question or get info. Something about security keeps appearing . Is there a setti g that i have messed up and need to adjust?

Ventura 13.3.1a and Safari 16.4 Anyone experiencing issues with "not connected to internet" and its "not a private connection" and so on with Safari? I have a Mac M1 Pro on a wired network and also the same wireless network and over the last couple of weeks or so, literally every website is hanging, blocked etc and having to refresh to reload pages and so on. The connection both wired and wireless are solid and even ran the option key wirless diagnostics which detected zero, yet on screen its none stop grrrrr (angry face). I did a clear browsing history and cookie delete etc but none the better. Running duck and go etc, for ages and my ipad/iphones and HP work laptop dont have any issues. Any thoughts? Narking me off a bit now and seems to be worsening......

When you are out and are trying to connect to a 'hot spot' you can go into System Preferences and you will see available networks that your computer sees as being available to join. However, some of them may require a password to access that network. Oftentimes the vendor will provide the needed password for you.
