Hello All. How do you schedule a shut down in macOS Ventura? The Energy Saver tab does not currently have the option.
Thank you

Can you please show the command to reboot every day at 8:00am ?
Sure, here you go-
sudo pmset repeat wake MTWRFSU 8:00:00
Welcome. Did you copy then paste the command or type it in? That is the correct command.
Thanks Bubba and dialabrain. We shall see if my computer shuts down at 1:00 AM.
Welcome.
I'd like to report a successful shut down!!! Again, thank you both for the assistance.
Excellent. Glad you got it working.
You're welcome.
How do I delete the command that I just created?
sudo pmset repeat cancel
When scheduling is that a 24 hour clock?
And will it shut down evening if there a download in progress vis-a-via an update or upgrade?
OT, yes it's a 24hr clock and the only info I have is in the linked page and the linked manual on said page.
I read the article. The Mac can't be sleeping or it won't shut down. I don't sleep my iMac anyway. Just the screen.
Thanks.
You're welcome.
Use the below command, which will clear the set power schedule.
sudo pmset repeat cancel
Thank you. Knew that but had forgotten. Your suggestion was very helpful. Thanks.
