How can I set complete shutdown after 30 min of inactivity on a MAC?

FWIW, there's no built-in method to shut down after a period of inactivity. There is a third-party app called Power Manager that may allow it. I don't use it so I don't know if it can. I would check with the developer.

In case I completely misunderstood your question and you meant how to log out after 30 mins or how to shut down at a certain time, I'm sorry.

Just to add, after looking through the Power Manager website, the app can run an AppleScript to shut down the computer after a period of inactivity. So it looks like it would work for you.
