How do I set MacBook Air to shut down when closing the lid?

Hi, I want to set my MacBook Air to shut down (rather than just sleep) when I close the lid. Is there a way to do that, please?

There is no option to shut down the MBA by simply closing the lid.

You must use the Shut Down... command found below the Apple logo  at the top right.
