The Keynote will be available to stream on apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, and the Apple YouTube channel. On-demand playback will be available after the conclusion of the stream.

I have a haver an early 2009 mac desktop, how do I upgrade the OS, it is currently os x 10.9.5

It cannot be upgraded beyond El Capitan 10.11.6 See the following from Identify your iMac model - Apple Support
