External Display stops working after upgrade iPadOS 16.1

Hi is it only me that external support stops working on iPadOS 16.1? After update from 15.7 to 16.1 on my iPad Air 5 (m1) my usb-c - hdmi adapter stops working and I have zero option to use external display. I can only use AirPlay nothing more. Yet another "future"?
