Stage manager, minimizing window

How do I minimize a window while using stage manager? sending the window/ app to the doc instead if recent tab.

I share the concern. To add up, the documentation suggests to use CMD+H to hide the window instead but this is not the same:

  • It's using keyboard instead of gesture, which changes the user interaction style.
  • The hidden window doesn't show in the dock
  • The hidden window doesn't appear with expose
  • The window can be found again with CMD + TAB but again, it's using keyboard instead of gesture.

I understand stages as ways to organise my active windows, dock as a way to park inactive ones and hide as... something that probably shouldn't exist (unless it's a window I would be ashamed for others to see?). So with stages on, I lack a way to keep inactive windows.
