Hi, as much as im aware of, you can not add weather app one the menu bar, unless you use third party app that enables it. Not all apps have the function that can be added to the Manu bar. The app itself should support that feature individually. If you want to add apps to menu bar, check this website, where you can find both free and paid apps that works primarily in menu bar:

http://macmenubar.com

In case if you mean the widgets in notification center, which slides from the right side of the screen when you open it with the appointed shortcut which can be customised, you can click "Edit" at the bottom of the widgets and the widgets screen will open, there you will see the apps on the left side, chose your choice of apps to add as a widget, and confirm with "Done" it will then display the widget on the notification center.

the login screen wallpaper changing is quite challenging. you need to do quite a few things.

if you want, I can give this website that explains it well, check this.

but, for a quite easy and a very simple way, I can suggest an app which enables more advanced tweaks for your Mac's system settings than what is already enabled.

the app named Onyx. It's easy to use and yo don't need much to know, it's pretty self explaining how the whole tweaks are shown in it. The only thing, you need to wait about two weeks or so, as there's an onyx app for every software individually. You can't use Monterey version for Ventura, so you need to download Onyx for Ventura but that version is not yet published, since Ventura was just released. The website says they will put it available in two weeks time. And they indeed do as promised. If you prefer waiting, I'd say thats easier and less complicated, and you wont need to mess up with the settings by changing sth. unintentionally.

and as for XProtect, that is strange that it appears there actually, normally shouldn't be visible. It's a software that is a part of File Quarantine, and those are the built-in anti-malware technology on macOS that is there out of the box. And normally it's not active the whole time but only when XProtect only executes when you install and run a new app, if an app is modified and its signatures are updated. If it finds something suspicious, it's going to block running the app and suggest you send it to the Trash. If it detects no malware, it's going to still pop up a message telling you from where and when it is downloaded.

Your Mac automatically updates XProtect in the background without needing any intervention.

To make sure your Mac has XProtect enabled and receives updates correctly in the background, go to the Apple logo > System Settings > General > Software Update > click on the 'info icon' and make sure the box next to “” Install security responses and system files” is toggled.

(Im not so sure about the XProtect under the login items but theoretically it is supposed to be on, while you turn it on, though, I suggest, you search for more information on that.)

Go to System Settings->Notifications->Weather->Allow Notifications, and make sure its turned on.

Then exit the Weather App settings, and open them again. All should be enabled for you to turn on or off.

You can add the weather app to the Dock by right clicking, control click or two finger click) on its icon and clicking on Options, then Keep in Dock.

There does not seem to be any way to add it to the Menu bar at the top of the screen.

I get it now better.

I think it's about the case below,

Feature availability and data sources in the Weather app

The Weather app includes a number of features that provide information about current and forecasted weather. Some features aren't currently available in every country or region.

10-day forecast

A 10-day weather forecast is available for most countries and regions. The data is provided by Apple Weather. If you use iOS 15.2 or earlier, you'll see a 10-day forecast that's provided by The Weather Channel.

Severe weather information

Severe weather information is available from national weather services for Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Japan, Mexico, Thailand, the United States, and most countries and regions in Europe.

Severe weather information is available from QWeather for China mainland.

Next-hour precipitation

Next-hour precipitation forecasts and precipitation notifications are available for Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The information is provided by Apple using data from national weather services.

Maybe if you're in a country outside of the ones given here, that might be why. It might not be available yet.
