Apple Music playlist unavailable

Did you have an individual Apple Music plan before you joined the family plan? If yes, then as soon as your individual plan expires, your playlist and all downloaded songs would be removed from your Apple Music account. You would have to maintain your subscription in order to keep your playlist and downloaded songs from Apple Music.

If the plan shows expired even though you joined the family plan, we recommend that you get in touch with Apple Support team for next best steps.

Just to reiterate, if you manually cancelled your Apple Music subscription in August, before joining the Family Sharing Apple Music plan, your music needs to be redownloaded. This includes playlists.

The reason for this, is because music downloaded from the Apple Music catalog is not owned by you. So, once the subscription is manually cancelled, any music obtained from the catalog is automatically removed.

You mentioned earlier: "my apple music subscription got expire in august, I just joined a family plan and my library isnt available."

If this is the case, then there is no need to contact Apple Support, as this is expected.
