Ventura breaks monitor detection?

Mac Studio with 1x monitor connected via on board HDMI, 2x connected via Startech Thunderbolt 3 to Dual DisplayPort adapter.

Setup worked fine before upgrade.

All works fine on boot.

Now if I power off all my monitors at mains (Mac stays on) and then return power to them only the HDMI connected monitor works. The other two are not detected (not shown in Settings->Displays).

If I unplug and reinsert the Startech adapter the monitors aren't detected. The only way to get them back is a reboot.

Any help appreciated!

I have the same problem, Ventura 13.1 killed my displays. everything was working fine, then nothing..... I use a Dell (certified by Apple) thunderbolt dock (WD22TB4). Everything else on the dock works, but not the displays. Even if I move the displays from the dock to the USB-C ports on the mac they still wont work. I'm using a 16" M1 MBP. I contact Apple and they even had the nerve to blame the third paerty vendor. "nothing we can do until they update their firmware".... So Apple, you broke a $600 dollar certified by you product.... and kiled my work environment... nice.

Same with me, I have 2 macbook pro. 1 M1 and 1 Intel, both just upgraded to ventura 13.1 and now my monitor fails to detect clamshell mode. I have to unplug the usb-c -> displayport and plug back into my intel book for the monitor to work again.

Im using the samsung 34inch ultrawide curve that allows split screen so I can use usb-c/displayport. M1 works fine in clamshell but my intel have problems when i close the laptop.
