Hearing aids and Apple devices
- Hey there. My name is Sydney H. I was born half deaf and have struggled my entire life to financially meet the needs to obtain hearing aids. I’ve noticed with your latest update that you added spatial to your air pods. I have a thought for you. My hearing aids have an app and do connect via Bluetooth to my iPhone. That’s awesome. But, so do the AirPods. Now, I’m using my hearing aids and my air pods for different things. The hearing aids to literally hear things around me, and I mainly use the AirPods for music during work hours. I would like to share my thoughts with you on this personal inconvenience. I’m using 2 different items that could have the potential to do the same thing. Of course I’m asking myself.. as Apple improves tech on AirPod pros.. why can’t they make them into hearing aids too? Not only a cash flow for different models of AirPods, but also targeting a large population of people who need them or want them but cannot afford them. Health insurance does not cover hearing aids, and it’s hard for someone like me to be able to afford mine. People struggle to continue to wear their hearing aids pretty much due to the price overcoming the quality of the item, that is if they even have them. I’m asking someone at Apple to make hearing aids and I am more than willing to test them. I’m asking for help from your company who has the ability to make many lives better, as you have already proven to do so. Please consider my thoughts and I really hope I receive a response as I am highly confident that you can continue to help make our world a better place. Thank you, Sydney H.
