How to set "home" and "work" in iPhone's 14 calendar?

I just upgraded to an iPhone 14 from iPhone 7. Before, if I created a new event in the calendar and estimated time from a starting location, I could just type in "Home" or "Work" and it used the correct address. Even though these two locations are set correctly in both Maps and Google Maps, if I type in "Home" is uses "Home - United States" and if I type in "work", it scans my contact list and looks for a contact with "work" in its name. Very confusing and frustrating. Any suggestions?

Have you added your work and home address to your My Card in Contacts? Add your contact info on iPhone - Apple Support When editing your My Card, select “Edit” in the top-right, scroll down and select “add address”. Be sure one is labeled as “Home” and the other as “Work”. Once the information has been added, see of your Calendar events provide the correct travel time.
