attach a photo to an email on iMac
when I click on attachment in an email, I want to get to my photos library, but when I click on photos, I only get a random assortment of my photos, not the library.

I just learned this:
There's a button, upper right in the Mail>New Message window, that says Photo Browser. What do you know!
On the other hand, I have always just grabbed the picture from the thumbnail viewer in Photos and dragged it to the mail window, so I had never looked for that. It's good to learn new things.

This is what happens to me: I click on attach and get a finder window. I go to the lower left under Media and click on Photos. What comes up is exactly the same stuff as when I click on Library in the Photos app. The assortment isn't random-- it has the ones imported last at the end. I can change the sorting order what that funny looking tab shown here:
Is that what happens for you?
