I swipe up to try and end the usage.

That is exactly how to end the Apple TV Remote widget from Control Center; just like any other app.

- Fast swipe to put it to the background as an open but not active app.

- Slow swipe to go to the App Switcher. While in the App Switcher, swipe up again to quit the process.

This is definately not working; it’s just closing remote app, but I still have remote on lock screen. Unhandy, it’s very easy to interrupt atv while using phone.
